Farm Hand Field Leader
DECEMBER to AUGUST: North West Coast (Tasmania)

About The Role:
Joining Left Field as a Farm Hand Field Leader, you’ll take on a dynamic, roaming role providing additional support to both Team Leaders and Partner Farms. Unlike Team Leaders, Field Leaders move between crews and farms, offering guidance, problem solving, and verbal reporting to ensure smooth operations and high productivity. You’ll play a key role in supporting Team Leaders to ensure their crews are safe, efficient, and motivated while addressing the needs of Partner Farms. While you’ll provide leadership and support, you’ll also work alongside the crew as a Farm Hand, contributing directly to the day-to-day harvest tasks and leading by example.

This position suits someone who thrives in a changing environment, sees opportunities instead of challenges, and is a natural problem solver. You’ll need to be assertive, an excellent communicator (verbal reporting is required), honest, and able to offer direct yet respectful feedback. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong sense of service to both people and farms and who enjoys the variety that comes with a flexible and mobile role.
