Accommodation in Tasmania – North West Coast

Our biggest tip is to avoid the common mistake many visitors make when they plan to make their way down to Tasmania – not booking their accommodation in advance, but instead wait until they arrive in Tasmania. You may find yourself feeling a little lost and sorry when you’re left struggling to find a place to stay – during peak season, long weekends, school holidays and our summer months, expect Tasmania to be near full capacity – we recommend securing your accommodation well in advance.

A share house is where two or more people rent a single property. There are two types of share house leases: sub-letting and co-tenant. Usually each person will have their own bedroom and typically they will share certain communal areas such as kitchens, bathrooms or living rooms. Generally, living in a share house is a cheaper option compared to living alone, as rent, utilities and, sometimes, food are split between housemates.
