Starting in the darkest hour of night with Dave Gough’s captivating Palawa story of creation, the show smoothly transitions to dawn in the mountains. You’ll follow the serene journey of the Mersey River, see fields of vibrant poppies and farmlands, and watch as Devonport’s urban landscape springs to life. The grand finale? A dramatic night-time storm over Bass Strait. It’s pure magic!

Five distinctive pillars stand tall, each representing different story elements:
- First Nations artwork
- Snow gum trees
- Local topographic lines
- Devonport’s urban icons
- The unique rocks of Don Heads
These pillars, along with over 350 custom made “gobo” patterns featuring local artworks from RANT Arts, add depth and richness to the narrative. Drone shot videos showcase our breathtaking local landscape, making you feel connected to the area like never before.
