Carrot Grader & Packer (Hourly Rate Inside Factory Work)

We are currently on the look out for like-minded people who are keen to become carrot graders and packers in our carrot factory in Don, Tasmania.
This is steady work, with a predictable working roster (approximately 45-60 hours per week), and could potentially be year round for the right person.

Required:
- Live in (or close) the Don area.
- MUST have a current driver's licence and own reliable transport (no car pooling).
- Current forklift licence and experience a huge advantage!
- MUST be available 7 days a week (but wouldn't be working everyday).
- MUST have a can-do attitude, be energetic, have a positive mindset and excellent attention to detail.
- Packing experience an advantage, but not necessary.
Factory work can be physical, so our workers must be physically fit and mentally tough. This is a casual position over peak season, so whilst there are no guarantee of hours, shifts are likely to be long, steady and predictable.
Harvest Dates: Now until June (potential ongoing work for the right candidate).
Pay: You will be paid $25.42 for the first three months then move to $26.15 per hour thereafter (as per the Horticultural Award 2020) - we are also StaffSure Certified to ensure you are paid properly (and legally) for the work you do!
