Who We Want: Not Just Workers, But Adventurers

Immediate start, based in North West Tasmania (mostly within a 30 minute radius of Devonport) – work until around July, Monday to Saturday work (unless raining), full days up to 12 hours. Outside work, but will be undercover in a “portable grading room” attached to the back of the tractor. Perfect for ticking off 88 days. $28.26 per hour.

The Lefty Perks—Not Just a Job, It’s a Lifestyle

  • A weekly pocket full of dreams. (That means weekly pay, starting at $28.26 p/h + Super = $31.36 p/h).
  • Journey on the Farm Work Loop for endless vistas and endless work.
  • Regular “Hey, you good?” check-ins. Because you’re more than just another worker to us.
  • A slice of the Tasmanian dream – sunrises, sunsets, and soil that tells stories.

What is Potato Harvest Work?

Potato harvest isn’t just work; it’s an experience. Imagine riding on a harvesting beast that digs up treasure from the Earth. You’re the judge, the jury, the connoisseur – grading each potato as it journeys through the machine. Get your hands dirty, literally.

What You Bring to the Harvest

  • A current driver’s licence and a ride you can call your own.
  • A spirit willing to embrace a 7-day rotating roster (no, you won’t work all 7, your rest is important!).
  • Your undying energy, an unshakable can-do vibe, and eyes that miss nothing.
  • Prior farming? Cool. Zero experience but a hunger to grow? Also cool.
